The Hoover Presto 2-in-1 Cordless Stick Vac might not be the best vacuum cleaner on the market. But it is convenient, lightweight and easy to use. The Presto 2-in-1 is touted as "two machines in one," but its not like it performs two different functions.

Simply, it's a nice little vacuum cleaner that does more than an adequate job on carpets and floors. Because it easily converts to a hand vac, it's works well on stairs and other tight areas. Where it comes in really handy is cleaning out cars, garages or other areas where power sources might not be readily available.

After proper charging, the vacuum seems to run forever without losing power.

After getting the Hoover Presto 2-in-1 Cordless Stick Vac to test, I swept around my desk. It did a passable job, although I noticed that strands of hair and fabric quickly began wrapping around the brush.

I used the on-off button at the top of the stick vacuum's handle. Later, at home, it wouldn't turn on, and I thought the charge had run down. But the next tester turned it on by using the switch on the attached hand vac.
