The Minnesota game went as planned. Just heard that Michigan State upset Wisconsin on the last play of the game, which looked like it should have gone into overtime to me.

They are going to come in here riding high, and I sure hope the Huskers take them down. Thank heavens it’s in our arena. By the time you read this we will know the answer. Hope it is the one we want. Go Huskers!

Nothing mind boggling has happened around here, except another episode with the Dirt Devil vacuum company which I swear is going to be a column if it ever gets settled. So it will have to be politics.

Actually it is just the same old, same old. Haven’t watched the last few GOP debates. Just wait for the commentators to tell me about the best parts. Inevitably it ends up with the discussion of how much money they have in their war chests. It’s like it is no secret that our government officials are bought and sold. Shame on them.

Our governor has finally called the special session of legislature over the pipeline. That should have been done a long time ago. He worried about the cost. Did he think it would get cheaper if he waited longer?
