Answer: The "U" part of the U-belt refers to the shape. The length of the belt is the question so, not all U belts are the same.

Shuffleboard Registration: Registration is now open for the 2011 Michael Burns Fund shuffleboard tournament beginning Friday, Nov. 25, at 6 p.m. and continuing all weekend. Officials urge teams to register as soon as possible, as registration is on a first-come-first-served basis. Call 906-5789 or 947-0049 to register. Proceeds benefit the northeast chapter of The Arthritis Foundation's Camp JRA. The shuffleboard tournament is a three-day double-elimination tournament consisting of 32 teams. It will be held at four locations. The entrance fee is $100 per team and includes T-shirts and food and drinks throughout the weekend.
Church Bazaar: St. John's Russian Orthodox Cathedral in Mayfield will hold its annual Christmas bazaar Friday and Saturday, Nov. 11-12, 11 a.m. to 7 p.m., and Sunday, Nov. 13, 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., at St. John's Center, 703 Hill St. Crafters and vendors will have stands on both the upper and lower levels of the facility. Food will also be on sale, including homemade pierogies, halushki), clam chowder, pizza, fish dinners, fish sandwiches, grilled shrimp and Caesar salad. On Saturday and Sunday, homemade halupki (served individually or as a dinner), chicken Marsala dinners, gyros, sausage and pepper sandwiches, pulled pork sandwiches and meatball subs will also be sold.
