How to wash the filter type F15 from the dirt devil easy lite vacuum?

Question: I've read that you can wash it but I haven't found how exactly I'm suppose to wash it. Do I soak it in water with soap for a few minutes? Do I just hold the filter under running water? Do I use hot or cold water? I know these questions seem dumb but since this is the only vacuum
Answer: All washable filters should be washed only in warm clean, clear water, never use soap or detergents.

Jewel cichlid fish are West African substrate spawners. They lay their eggs on a rock or other suitable substrate. When they hatch into "wrigglers," the parents often move them to a pit in the gravel, so they seem to disappear for a while. When the fry become free- swimming, they reappear. It seems that yours are hatching out okay but don't reach the free-swimming stage.
I suspect that your undergravel filter may the primary culprit. Undergravel filters generally do not work well with cichlid fish because the fish excavate the gravel from parts of the aquarium, uncovering the filter plate. Once that occurs, the water bypasses the gravel that holds the beneficial bacteria, rendering the filter ineffective. However, you say that your undergravel filter is working well. Perhaps too well! Once the parents place the wrigglers into a gravel pit, they are probably being sucked into the gravel by the water flow, where they die.
Another problem with undergravel filtration is that they hold the dirt in the gravel, rather than remove it from the aquarium and onto a medium that can be easily cleaned. If newly hatched cichlid fish are placed in such dirty conditions, there is a risk of bacterial infections that will kill them.
